I had the chance to meet the sweetest little one today! Although we wanted her to sleep and she had her own ideas, she finally gave in and snoozed….if only for a bit! The shots we got in that short time are amazing though!

Darn! I already missed a day!! Even with the best intentions, I missed it! Well…these pics were supposed to be of my mermaid swimming, but someone else got sick in the pool and class was canceled. We went to the park instead!

March 14. The start of the 2010 Indy Car season! So excited to watch the race in Brazil. Anyone who knows me, knows that I am an Andretti girl. Although Michael is my all time favorite, I still show my love for his son Marco (but I also admit that the Andretti blood line is getting watered down….) Sadly, on the first turn of lap one, Mario Moraes missed his braking point and launched his car onto the top of Marco Andretti’s car, leaving Andretti uninjured but trapped in the cockpit for several minutes. It was a short race for Marco….but the season has just begun!
March 13th….project 365!

March 13th was supposed to be way different! We were supposed to be in Chicago for the St. Patrick’s Day parade! Emma has twirled in that parade since she was 4. But this year, it was cold, damp and raining. That usually would not stop us, but due to Emma’s recent throat diagnosis, we just could not take the chance of her getting sick and damaging her throat any more. There is always next year. 
Starting project 365!

Starting today, I’m starting project 365. I am going to try to document at least one thing in MY life EVERY day for the next 365!! I realize this may be hard….it’s easy to get bogged down in the day to day rat race. This is a chance for me to stay energized and keep looking at the positve fun things in life and to capture them artistically. It might be a challenge, but I’m going to try! I’ll try to post at least one every day, so keep checking back! Todays images are of my almost 7 year old son at his group violin lesson!

Join Watrous Photography in supporting this event for a great cause! The Waukesha Downtown Business Association is partnering with Waukesha Memorial Hospital to help support the 2010 Riverwalk for Breast Cancer. Won’t you join our team and help raise money for this deadly disease. We need a team of at least 15 walkers, and the cost is only $15 per walker. All money goes to Waukesha Memorial for Breast Cancer research in our community. We need to register by March 12th, so please let me know as soon as you can. Come be a part of a fun day for a great cause!
